Welcomed by the Douglas Mayor and Mayoress

The Mayor and Mayoress of Douglas invited Annie, our beloved French Honorary Consul, and her little Frenchies to a cosy evening at the Douglas Town Hall.

We were well looked after with drinks, nibbles, and a tour of the Town Hall followed by an entertaining talk from His Worship in the Council Chamber.

Repaying Angela and Jonathan’s kind hospitality by gifting them a signed Map of Mann was an honour.

Handing the Map of Mann to the Mayor of Douglas
The Mayor and Mayoress, Jonathan and Angela Joughin, receiving their map.

Or…The Best Map of Iceland.

Why is designing the Map of California so laborious? Marketing-wise, it’s a good one: plenty of visitors, inhabitants, dreamers… potential buyers. When in doubt, a friend I recently met advised me to simply ask myself this: “does it feel right,
